Flip Cam Extender – Use Monopod to be in Video
I shoot lots of video and had idea yesterday to use a monopod as extension for my Vado Portable Cam (Flip Cam) Click to see my YouTube video. So today, I am featuring a monopod as it has proven to be extremely valuable to me to recording myself without and arm showing.
I will use this at trade shows for interviews and can be applied to digital cameras, camcorders and of course the Flip HD which i just bought 1 hour ago! The video was shot on Longboat Key in Florida and will show you how it is done.
I found this monopod that wasn't expensive and is the National Geographic Tundra Monopod W/Quick Release by Bogen Imaging. Just a simple version that lists for $44. I purchased my monopod from BestBuy or Walmart and was around $20. Buy One!
