HP TouchSmart TX2Z Tablet 12” Laptop

Have you seen the HP TouchSmart TX2Z Laptop? The 12” notebook has a touch sensitive screen that swivels 180 degrees and lays flat to make a tablet pad. This intrigued me and with the included stylus pen you can convert handwritten notes to text and surf the web with your finger. The notebook (HP Online Store) has 64-bit Windows Vista and has a resolution of 1280 x 800 so makes for a fun gadget to own.

What it looks like folded

With 180 degree rotation and ability to flip upside down you can use to show presentations with your finger as the mouse and that is really nice.

The downsides of this gadget:
The battery life is limited so after 3 hours you need to find a wall outlet or your note taking will stop immediately!

I believe this is the future of laptop computing with touch screen capabilities like the Apple iphone. If you are interested in buying this HP Laptop here is the link.

  1. Hey Mike – It definitely looks interesting. The size of it amazes me compared to the features. It is so tiny and looks like a little file that you can carry it all along!

    Good Find!
