Philips Rhapsody Wireless Music Player

by Michael Vorel

I am a big fan of Rhapsody Music Service as well as Internet Radio. I came across the Philips Streamium network music player and seems like a cool gadget to own. As a wireless network radio it will access Rhapsody and play tunes where you are!

What’s Cool About This?

  • Wireless (Yes, alone that makes it rock)
  • Rhapsody enabled! – I use to use a Roku to port Rhapsody to my kitchen and worked great but was always limited by screen size and searching. On a side note – I have been a Rhapsody subscriber since they first offered it and highly recommend. Of course if you can afford the Sonos Wireless Music System pay the $1000 and might not need this product!
  • Large Color Screen – you want to see what you are listening to and be able to search by artist, song, radio station genre and more.
  • Remote Control – extremely important as this may find it’s way in a home office, workout area, patio, kitchen or poolside! You don’t want to get up do you?
  • Wall Mountable
  • Power – has a 30W system
  • Philips’ patent-pending LivingSound (haven’t heard this but some type of enhancement) I’m not to excited over this feature but thought I would mention it.
  • Free Internet Radio Stations – with access to thousand’s of stations it’s a huge advantage to have at your fingertips!

Zen Like Experience (well I like the picture they used)
She seems to be really enjoying the Philips Streamium and hoping I will be to!
