Want to be more productive with your Blackberry? I recently received a TazzleIt USB device that allows you to send photos, files and print from your phone to your laptop or desktop. This impressive little device is perfect for the mobile professional who wants to share internal documents on the road.
I created a video review of the TazzleIt and you can see it here or view below:
As the manufacturer says… “Tazzle It”
I wanted to thank Bruce Haendal, VP of product management for taking the time to send me a unit to test, giving an online demo from Tokyo, Japan and helping me with the testing. As a recent convert from BlackBerry to the iPhone the testing was a bit more challenging but with a friends in the corporate world locating a Blackberry wasn’t an issue. In preparing for the test, I decided to mix it up a bit and utilize VMware fusion on my MacBook Pro to run the test on Vista and in all places at a children’s party at a roller rink. I know that all sound odd but when you have to test you have to test regardless of location.

The overall setup was easy to follow:
- Install the desktop software from the Tazzle Site
- Put in your email address and phone number on the Tazzle site and they send the download link directly to your phone
- Install the BlackBerry app
- Setup a Bluetooth pair relationship with the phone and the PC.
- Plug in the tiny USB card into the USB port and you are set to Tazzle It.
Real Life Applications
- Corporate – sometimes your company doesn’t allow documents to be emailed outside your company and with a TazzleIt you can send to another location without email or print at home to review. Or imagine, you are having an important presentation and your laptop goes down, with TazzleIt you could send backup documents on your phone to another computer and save the day.
- Personal – you can show photos taken on your BlackBerry on another PC for friends and family to view.
Overall a “Must Have” for the Mobile Professional! With a blend of features, one transfer of an important file could save the day and with portable pairing you only need one Tazzle to connect to a variety of devices. 2 Thumbs Up!
